To make better digital products, I taught myself SEO optimized content writing then leveraged it to activate new consumers across digital platforms from YouTube to Amazon.
My optimized blog posts have doubled traffic and moved websites from page four to page one.
Whether its in an app or a product description, I think improving any “search” elevates the user experience, and is just plain fun for me. Using data and my SEO knowledge, I’ve also provided creative content analysis, revealed consumer trends, and created shopper profiles.

Optimized Blog Post Example
I suggested to the Think.Make.Share. website that I SEO optimize their older blog posts. I provided keyword strategies as well as post rewrites. By doing this, I doubled their views on my first SEO post. This led to Think.Make.Share. adding past post optimization to their content strategy.

Increase Word Count: From 331 to 402 to add more Google weight to post.
Other Optimizing Suggestions:
- Remove “Make your own sparkler photos” from the photograph design. Add the valuable phrase to content for optimization. If the copy is artistically part of design, it isn’t searchable.
- Add internal blog links to other Think.Make.Share Fourth of July content, specifically the Free Printable Fourth of July Décor.
- •Add relevant external link to Hallmark Channel website.
Sample of Optimized Sparkler Post: SEO in BOLD
(TITLE) Sparkler Photos: An Easy July 4th Party Idea
It’s almost July and you know what that means: fireworks! Writing with sparklers is a fun summer activity that will light up your holiday memories (and your social media feeds). Make your sparkler photos extra-amazing with help from director Mark Morton, straight from Hallmark’s Union Hill Photography Studio.
(SUBTITLE) Let the Fourth of July Fun Shine On
For a kid growing up in the ’80s the Fourth of July was a time for mischief. I can remember sneaking away and getting in bottle rocket wars or watching an older kid light M-80s, and leaving my ears ringing. These are things kids could never get away with today. For a low-danger-but-high-fun activity try writing words with sparklers. It will keep those mischief-seekers interested…and busy!
(SUBTITLE) How to Photograph Sparklers
Supply List
- A group of people.
- A LOT of sparkler fireworks.
- A camera.
- A tripod or steady surface.
(SUBTITLE) Tips for Taking Sparkler Word Photos
Use one person per letter. We used four people for “w-i-s-h”. Or use one person to write words in cursive. See our “love” and “happy” photos.
Have the group face the camera with the party sparklers in front of them.
Write the letters backwards so the camera sees the words the correct way. If it’s too hard to write the letters backwards, you can always flip the finished image in a photo editor later.
